Learn from Mary’s openness

God made a promise to the entire human race,
an anticipated promise of redemption.
Every generation planned for the advent of His kingdom
The reign of peace, love and uprightness.

In the past, God worked several signs
to prepare our hearts for the arrival of the redeemer
He first spoke through the prophets,
He performed miracles to prove His love and mercy.

Do not lose hope like King Ahaz in your waiting.
Humanity will be saved through Jesus Christ.
The era of Salvation opens with Mary,
in her miraculous conception of the Messiah.

The throne of David shall be given to Him
He shall be called a Prince of peace
He will free his people from the slavery of sin
In His kingdom, there will be no end.

Learn from Mary’s openness to God:
to be prompt in answering the divine call,
By faith and trust, she became the mother of God,
By her obedience and simplicity, she became a model of faith.

Rejoice with Mary the favoured daughter of Zion:
The predicted time by king David has come,
The revelation of God’s hidden mystery by st Paul,
The hour of the redemption of God’s promise has come.

Mary found joy in allowing God’s word in her life
David obtained joy in doing God’s will
Paul felt joy in the wisdom of God
May you find the joy of the shepherds in your heart.
