I CHOOSE EXCELLENCE

I choose to live by choice
Not relying on chance
For I am the master of my own destiny
I refuse to leave things to circumstances

I choose to be motivated
Not easily manipulated
Because I have the power within me
To be my own source of inspiration

I choose not want to be a pawn
To be used for someone else's gain
For I am valuable and worthy
Not simply a means to an end

I choose to make changes
No excuses in disguise
Because growth comes from action
Not from blame or lies

I choose excellence
Over competition and contention
For I am not in a race with others
But simply on a journey of life

I choose to love myself
With a strong sense of self-worth
Because happiness comes from within
Not from seeking external validation or dreams

I choose to listen to the voice in me
Not the arbitrary opinions of others
Because only I know my true path
And the power to overcome any compulsion

I choose to be me
Unapologetically
For no one is like me
I choose to be the captain of my own ship.
